OBJECTIVES

First, to
improve the accessibility of children in the catchment area and far beyond to
quality technical education.
Secondly, to create
a conducive environment for apprenticeship in which students are encouraged to
develop their potential in one of a number of job-creating trades (building
construction and draughtsmanship, electricity, motor mechanics, motor
electricity, computer science, carpentry and modern furniture-making) through
the acquisition of necessary technical expertise and theory. This will enable
them face the economic, development and employment challenges of their society
more confidently.
Thirdly, in keeping with the College motto, "Come in to Learn. Go out to Serve", tthe College prepares each student properly in his/her trade or area of specialisation and in different aspects of business affairs as well as in the ability to produce efficient and satisfactory results in his/her trade or area of specialisation.
Fourthly, to give students basic understanding of
computer science, a science which is influencing our society more and
more. In this light, every student is encouraged and taught how to use the
computer as an important aid for running his/her future business.

inally given the great importance of English and French in the business world, MTHS works to develop students’ skills in oral and written English and French as well as their practical knowledge of business parlance.
